The food pantry was started in 1981 as an outreach to families in need in and around the Barberton area. Our volunteers serve 30 – 50 families per week by encouraging them in God’s Word, packing groceries, and building friendships.  For over 20 years Doris Ronk supervised and worked faithfully to bring the Food Pantry's success.  Therefore, we are proud to call it “The Doris Ronk Food Pantry.” After years of service Doris passed on the supervisory duties to Lonnie Seibert who faithfully followed in her footsteps leading our volunteers to a successful ministry that continues to grow. We currently serve the communities of Barberton and Norton.
