ADVISORY BOARD
Kevin Bunday
Kevin was an active member of Emmanual Christian Assembly since 1997. He served as a deacon for almost ten years and a home group leader for upwards of five years. Kevin is an electrician and single father of two. He enjoys anything that allows him to be outdoors and lives in Wadsworth, Ohio.
Through Kevin's leadership, ministry to New Destiny Treatment Center has continued beyond the closing of the church doors. Once a month, a team of men present the Word of God with the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the residents and pray with them. We want them to know that God has a future for them!
Paul Belcher
Paul attended Emmanuel Christian Assembly since he was a teenager. He served as head of our lawn crew, a worship team member, a Sunday School teacher, and is a regular food pantry worker.. Paul is not afraid to give a loud shout to the LORD and his enthusiam is contagious.
Paul enjoys many hobbies such as building model kits, watching anime, and of course, playing XBOX.
Peter Belcher
Peter served as the head of Emmanuel Christian Assembly's cleaning teams, was a Sunday School teacher, a regular food pantry worker, and a Teen Helper, among other things.
Peter is a strong studier and enjoys reading the Bible and other books. He likes to fellowship with other believers. When he isn't serving he enjoys playing tennis and strategy games to help keep his mind sharp. Peter is a strong prayer warrior and is always ready to pray when there is a brother or sister in need.
Jordan grew up in a small town in South Central Ohio and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with minors in chemistry and business administration from the University of Toledo. Though he was raised with a strong moral compass, he was never active in a church or ministry. After graduating, he started his career in Pharaceutical manufacturing. In 2009, he began to attend Emmanuel Christian Assembly. Though he was initially drawn to the "cute, blonde girl on the worship team", he soon began to appreciate hearing the Word of God. The gospel of Christ began to cultivate new life in his heart, and in January of 2010 he accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. Jordan married that beautiful girl on the worship team in June of 2021 and together they have two tiny blondes, Grace and Henley. They live in New Franklin, Ohio and attend Grace Bible Church seeking the Lord and serving Him faithfully.

Joe Paul
Joe is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary of Davey Tree Company. Joe previously served as treasurer of Community Covenant Church in North Canton, Ohio. He is currently serving on the Financial Committee for the ECA LEGACY FUND.
Joe lives with his wife Janet, They have three children and enjoy boating every chance they get.
Cathy Schoblocher
Cathy has been married to Pastor Joe for 46 years and has worked alongside him in ministry. They have 4 grown, married children, and 9 grandchildren.
Having given her life to Christ in 1976, she has never lost the desire to know and love Him better, to seek His presence, to grow in His love, and be filled with the understanding of His Word.
LaSandra Stewart
LaSandra was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She is the little sister of three amazing siblings. As a Christian, she aspires to know Jesus in a deeper way and to be of help wherever she can.
LaSandra spent many years at Emmanuel Christian Assembly serving the Lord faithfully in the Food Pantry Ministry, Sunday School, Women's Ministry, cleaning crew, and many other helps. She always carries an exuberant expression of Christ's joy wherever she goes.
